Botox Cosmetic is an injected chemo deinnervator which will relax facial muscles. By relaxing the underlying muscles lines on the face will lessen. Often the result can often be dramatic. Frown lines of the forehead can disappear or soften. Crows feet of the eyes will also soften. The corner of the mouth can rise.
Typically, Botox will begin to work between 2 and 5 days after injection and can last up to six months.
