Aron Kressel, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice for 22 years. He is a diplomat of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Kressel trained in the art and science of plastic surgery and his goal is to provide individualized personalized care to maximize each patient’s aesthetic outcome. All of Dr. Kressel’s procedures are tailored to each patient’s personal needs and goals to create a natural appearing aesthetic outcome .
The goal of the practice is provide the highest standard of surgical care while providing an environment of safety and compassionate care. Dr. Kressel uses only certified operating room facilities and board certified anesthesiologists for his surgical procedures.
The office is able to provide for the complete aesthetic needs of the discerning patient by combining the skill of a plastic surgeon with those of a skin care spa, medical dietitian, and medical tattoo specialist in an intimate soothing setting.
For the past 12 years, he has been the section chief of the division of plastic surgery at Metropolitan Hospital where he is involved in the care of those injured by trauma, pediatric reconstruction(cleft lip and palate) , and adult oncological (breast) reconstruction. He serves on the teaching staff of the Mt. Sinai Hospital for the education of the plastic surgery residents. He is actively involved with the eduction of the general surgery residents and medical students of NY Medical College. For many years he was the co director of the plastic surgery clinic at St. Vincent’s Hospital in NY (now closed).
